The Upper School’s student-led service Organization (SOFA) is collecting goods and boxes for Samaritan’s Purse, an organization that collects shoeboxes filled with goodies for children in disaster situations. The boxes are for children ages 2–4, 5–9, or 10–14.
Some examples of what can go into the boxes would be hygiene products like toothbrushes, toys and stuffed animals, books, etc., any item that a child would need or enjoy that can fit in a shoebox.
Donations can be dropped off at the front reception area of the Lower School and Upper School buildings until November 10, as SOFA members and Upper School students will begin packing up boxes.
If you don’t want to bring in things, you can build a box online at https://www.samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child/
